We are delighted to introduce a new design of our Himeros cock rings – Chronos. The new design was in the making for almost half a year from initial sketches to the final product, since we wanted to perfect it to the smallest detail.
The concept of intimate jewelry being more than just a generic-looking piece is still not very common. Most manufacturers use less-than-ideal materials for their products and don't spend too much time designing and thinking about long-term durability and comfort. Since tungsten carbide is not well known or widely used in intimate jewelry products, we wanted to create a piece, that acts as an introduction piece to our exquisite cock ring family.
The idea behind Chronos was to offer a cock ring that is a timeless piece with a classic design and to represent a great entry point for building your very own Himeros cock ring collection. We wanted to make the ring an eternal part of your collection while still giving you the benefits of tungsten carbide – the longevity, the weight, and the overall feel.
To make the ring go beautifully together with any existing jewelry and outfits you might already have, we decided to keep the natural tungsten carbide colour – a slightly darker silver than stainless steel. It is somewhere between pure silver and gunmetal gray.
We did not want to make a boring design or a too »in-your-face« design. An eternal classic should be very elegant and well…timeless. That is why we decided to play with the surface finish and added a slight elevation change when transitioning from a polished to a brushed surface. The brushed surface is a beautiful contrast, reflecting the light differently than the polished finish, making the ring look sturdy and indestructible. The inner surface with a laser-engraved logo still has our trademark ErgoFit curvature for all-day-long comfort.
The design showcases the beauty of natural tungsten carbide perfectly. Because there are no inlays, the ring feels extremely solid and cohesive. No inlays also mean no danger of scratching the resin, making this the most durable ring possible.
The durability and the timeless design are the reason why we named this eternal piece Chronos. The personification of time in Greek mythology.
